Loropetulam Plum

Loropetalum Plum or otherwise known as Plum Delight, is a great, midsized shrub. Distinctive plum colored foliage and pink fringy flowers make this shrub stand out. But what makes the Loropetalum a favorite of gardeners and landscape designers is not only its unique visual elements, but also that it is a tough plant with very little pests and it is easy to grow and maintain. This partial evergreen shrub prefers moist but well-drained soil, but it is very adaptable to less than ideal conditions. Loropetalum grows best in full sun to partial shade. It needs the sun to maintain its dark foliage, a full and dense shape, and bloom well.

It tolerates both moderate drought and wet soils in full sun and partial shade exposures. It has a dense, upright growth habit with dark green leaves. It does flower with pale pink or white clusters. For best growth as a dense screen or hedge, plant viburnum in full sun in a moist, well-drained soil. With its good green foliage, this species is a great background plant for shorter, more colorful or wispy palms, shrubs and perennials.

Spiney Greek Junipers will grow up to 20 feet in height with up to a 15-foot spread.  It is quite a tough evergreen, with few insect or disease problems.
It requires little or no care and is very hardy in general.  It is tolerant of some shade and is drought tolerant and adapts to a variety of soils.
